Willow Patio
The Willow Patio project was created for a family who wanted to make better use of their spacious but underused backyard.The existing outdoor area had plenty of room, but there was no defined space for dining, relaxing, or entertaining. The homeowners wanted a patio that could support everyday family life while also providing a comfortable setting for weekend gatherings.

The Challenge
The backyard received strong afternoon sunlight, making the existing outdoor area uncomfortable during warmer parts of the day. There was also no clear separation between the entertaining area and the rest of the garden. Without defined zones, furniture tended to feel scattered and the space lacked a clear focal point.
The Design Approach
We designed the patio as the central gathering point of the backyard. Its rectangular layout creates a clear foundation for different activities while keeping the overall composition simple. A custom pergola was introduced above the main seating area to provide shade and establish a stronger architectural identity.
The palette combines warm stone, natural timber, and neutral furnishings to create a relaxed appearance that complements the surrounding greenery
