thesis: back technology-driven founders early, and stay close long after the first check. The new fund brings Fotisix&#8217;s total assets under management past $40 million, three years after the firm&#8217;s first close.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-190531a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"190531a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The focus hasn&#8217;t changed \u2014 only the capacity to act on it. Fund II will continue investing across the same four areas Fotisix has built conviction in since day one: artificial intelligence, fintech, sustainability, and health. Rather than broadening into new categories, the firm is doubling down on the belief that depth in fewer sectors compounds faster than breadth across many.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb891b1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bb891b1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>&#8220;We didn&#8217;t raise this fund to do more things \u2014 we raised it to do the same thing, better, and for more founders,&#8221; said the firm&#8217;s founding partner. &#8220;Fund I taught us where our conviction actually holds up under pressure. Fund II lets us write bigger first checks and reserve more for the founders who prove us right.&#8221;<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3a29d83 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3a29d83\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>For founders, little changes procedurally: pitches still reach a partner directly, with a response inside five business days. What changes is capacity \u2014 Fund II allows for larger initial investments and deeper follow-on reserves, particularly for later-stage rounds where Fotisix has historically had to step back.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ed4e0ff elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ed4e0ff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The announcement comes on the heels of the firm&#8217;s first exit and a portfolio that has grown to fourteen companies. Fotisix says it plans to keep that same ratio of attention to capital as the fund scales \u2014 fewer companies, backed harder, rather than a wider net cast
